A Bay Area boy who moved to Santa Barbara for college and is now residing in San Luis Obispo County (home of the Pismo Beach KiteXpo), Peter is a long time surfer and windsurfer who started out kiting in 1997 while on a trip to Maui. Pioneering many of California’s wave riding spots, Peter has ridden a directional from day one and started out on Flexifoil Blade kites. He is also a videographer who has produced and edited a number of surfing and sailboarding videos, in addition to one of kiteboarding's first dvds, Strung Out, and was involved in Brian Caserio's Air Sickness movie. Peter is the US distributor for Flexifoil and also recently got picked up as a team rider for Paddlesurf Hawaii. Peter is joining us on this week’s podcast to tell us about the 2009 Flexifoil line, what got him into SUPing and his thoughts on the direction of our sport.
